It is sweet, tasty and seedless. Navel oranges are distinguished by their excrescence which develops at their apex and which looks like a navel. Fruit color varies from orange or yellow-orange to yellow-green. The fruit can be quite ripe without necessarily being a bright orange color. The fruits tastier are often yellowish or pale orange.
