Fresh eggs from free range hens on pasture.

Our hens are raised in the open, on rotational pastures. This means that we give them access to one section of pasture at a time and when they have used it well, we move their pen to a new section. This method of pasture management allows the hens to always have access to a lush, green pasture where they can scratch the ground and feed on insects and greenery, resulting in happy hens and delicious eggs!

Our hens are fed non-GMO feed made to measure for us by a local miller. It contains organic soy, wheat, barley and minerals. It does not contain any antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products.

Hens have access at all times to fresh water and a comfortable hen house with perches and nests. In season, we supplement their diet with fallen apples (which they love!) And greens and vegetables from the garden.
