The pepper plant is native to the Malabar coast in southwest India. After the pepper plant blooms, the flower turns into bunches of berries that are harvested at different stages of ripening - it is these berries that when dried are called peppercorns. It is the different degrees of ripening that allow the development of more or less pronounced aromas in different varieties of peppers.

Pink pepper has sweet, sweet and caramelized notes. Easy to use, pink pepper goes well with all spices and is convenient to have on hand.

Good to know: as peppers do not tolerate cooking well, add them to your dishes after or at the very end of cooking. In addition, grind the pepper at the last moment so that it retains all its flavors and properties.
